About · What we believe

Social growth should come from signal, not noise.

And no automation should touch a brand's voice without a human approving it first. That is the whole company in two sentences. The rest of this page is why we think so, and the evidence.

A small team working late in a studio

Mission

Give every creator and business the social team of a much larger brand — and keep them in control.

AI agents do the reading and the drafting: research, hooks, scripts, edits and replies. People keep the final say on everything that goes out.

Our first pilot was a dental practice — about the most automation-averse customer there is. If the loop earns trust there, it works for a creator, a coach, a café or an agency client. Oryxia is built for any niche.

A hand steering a glowing compass

Why this, why now

Every tool in this category is trusted for speed and distrusted for judgment.

Before writing product copy we studied 8 direct and adjacent competitors and collected eighty-plus verbatim customer quotes. Reviewers call AI output "generic" and "out of context". They describe automation that fails silently and embarrasses them. And their most common complaint is a billing or cancellation practice that feels adversarial.

Nobody in the category is building for an owner who has to answer for every word their brand says in public. That is exactly who Oryxia is for.

Research pass completed September 2026. Parallel competitor teardowns and customer-language mining across ten competitor review sets plus Alignable, Warrior Forum and BlackHatWorld. Verbatim quotes only, sourced. 80+ quotes collected.

The enemy

  • Generic AI content that ignores the brand's real voice and performance data
  • Automation that runs unattended and fails silently
  • Billing and cancellation practices designed to be hard to escape
  • Vanity metrics without a next action
  • Agency retainers and complexity for creators and owner-led businesses
  • Vendors who decide they know the business better than the owner does

Strategic guardrails

  • Never promise virality, guaranteed followers or guaranteed revenue.
  • Never sound like a generic AI writer.
  • Never make the customer feel replaced by automation.
  • Never adopt a pricing or billing practice from the category's complaint list.
  • Never publish an outcome claim before we have the evidence.

What we believe — in order

Six beliefs, from “I don't know what to post” to “I can trust this vendor.”

Every page on this site and every feature in the product traces back to one of these. They come from competitor teardowns and real customer language. Where a belief is not yet backed by our own customers' results, we say so.

  1. 01

    Problem-aware

My real problem isn't “I don't post enough” — it's that I don't know what deserves my attention.

Instead of: “I'm behind because I'm not consistent. I need a scheduler.”

Across the small-business owners we studied, the #1 complaint was never “I need to publish faster”. It was not knowing what to make, and dashboards that deliver “fancy graphs… but little or no results”. A scheduler solves the wrong problem. A workspace that starts from your own performance signal and tells you what to do next solves the real one.

Proof: Verbatim prospect language from Alignable and Warrior Forum.

  2. 02

    Problem-aware → solution-aware

AI content is only useful if it actually knows my business — otherwise it's just faster generic content.

Instead of: “AI tools make content fast. (Already believed; the barrier is trust in the output.)”

Reviewers of AI clipping and content tools call the output “out of context” with “poor personalization”, or say the autopost “publishes content that is not relevant to the brief”. The market has been burned by tools that generate from a blank prompt. Oryxia generates from your own 90-day performance, analyzed competitors, and a brand knowledge base — and nothing publishes without human review.

Proof: OpusClip Capterra review; Predis.ai Capterra review; Ocoya Trustpilot review.

  3. 03

    Solution-aware → product-aware

Automation is only trustworthy if I approve it before it goes out, not after something already happened.

Instead of: “Automation means it happens without me.”

The category leader in DM automation carries a 2.1★ Trustpilot score, dragged down by stray auto-sends and an outage that silently killed automations for hours. One forum thread recounts a bot leaving “how wonderful” under a post about missing women. Oryxia's replies are drafted in your voice and require one tap to approve. Nothing sends unattended.

Proof: ManyChat Trustpilot rating (2.1★ / 302 reviews); Warrior Forum; ManyChat outage reports.

  4. 04

    Product-aware

One connected workspace is worth more than the point tools I'd otherwise stitch together.

Instead of: “I'll add a scheduler, then a DM tool, then a clipping tool as I need them.”

A scheduler ($43–172/mo), a DM automation tool ($39–199/mo) and a video clipper ($15–29/mo) already run $100–400+ a month before solving a single trust or “what do I post” problem — and none of them share brand context. Oryxia unifies analytics, competitor intelligence, content, video editing and inbox drafts around one brand memory.

Proof: Competitor pricing ladders, researched September 2026.

  5. 05

    Ready-to-buy

I can trust this vendor with my brand's voice and my cancel button, because it's built for a business like mine.

Instead of: “Every one of these tools has a billing or cancellation horror story.”

The single most repeated failure pattern across all ten competitors studied was not a missing feature. It was silent price escalation, continued billing after cancellation, and support one user called “worse than dealing with an AI”. Oryxia commits to flat, transparent pricing with no per-credit metering and real one-click cancellation — because the buyers we build for have no finance team to catch a surprise invoice.

Proof: 20+ verbatim billing and cancellation complaints across G2, Capterra and Trustpilot.

  6. 06

Problem-aware — anyone paying for social today

I can get the work of a social media agency — research, hooks, scripts, edits, replies — without handing my voice to someone who doesn't know my business.

Instead of: “I already pay an agency, a freelancer or a stack of tools. That's my social handled.”

Agencies and freelancers work in monthly cycles and re-learn your voice every time the account manager changes; the tools that replace them each do one step and share nothing. Oryxia's agents do the reading and the drafting against one personal brain, and you approve the result — the agency's output, with the owner's judgment.

Proof: Competitor teardowns and 80+ verbatim reviews: speed is trusted, judgment is not.

Values

How we decide what to build.

01

Clarity over clutter

Make the next decision obvious. If a screen, a page or a feature creates noise, remove it.

02

Evidence over hype

Separate observation, hypothesis and proof. Every public claim is either sourced or marked as not yet verified — on this site too.

03

Human judgment over blind automation

Assist, prepare, and ask for approval when it matters. Every belief on this page depends on this being real, not a slogan.

04

Momentum over busywork

Every workflow should move the brand forward. Dashboards that end in a chart are busywork.

05

Transparency the category doesn't have

Flat pricing, one-click cancellation, no credit traps. A values statement and a product commitment.

A tidy desk with notebooks and a laptop

Who is behind it

A founder-led company, building in the open.

Oryxia is built by a small, founder-led team. Our first live pilot is a dental practice; the product is built for creators and businesses in any niche. We are not going to invent a team page, an office or a founding story for this site — when there is more to say, it will be here.

Decision owner: the founder. Review trigger: customer evidence, product scope, or audience change.

If this is how you think about social, let's talk.

We are choosing the founding cohort carefully. A 30-minute conversation about your account is the first step.
